My Girl's arrived

Six months after I left Perth, Karen has finally finished up her penultimate semester at college in Perth and moved over to join me in Sydney and finish off her course. She had a busy week packing up her flat, selling her car, fighting off a cold and saying goodbuy to friends, then had a nightmare of a journey with good ol Qantas, having three flights seriously delayed with technical problems, but managed to arrive only 24hours late and without her bags last weekend.

Needless to say that she's been resting up this week and settling in to her new surroundings, even having a 'Girly Night' round with Anne-Marie and her friends (Paul Brown's partner for those who know him) - and the best bit, cooking me some great meals to come home to after work. Although, I did come back one night with an awful lot of smoke in the place and Karen shouting to me that she's just dealing with a 'Little incident'!

She starts college on Monday and looking forward to completing it in December. She's off to look for jobs as well next week and is a bit aprehencive about it.

Sunset in Sydney

I went down to Mrs McQuaries Chair the other evening to get a pic of the sunset over the Bridge - was a little late but the effect wasn't too bad.
